Literature Text

In an instant lives can change,
Meetings wax and meetings wane,
But life moves on and heroes are forever.

Glory to the older days,
Progression into newer ways,
Time waits for no one and lives are wasted

In the sea of passionate sands,
Shimmering waves of speed and fear
Dance upon the outstretched hands
Of a man who dares come near...

Movement is simply everywhere,
Nobody really seems to care,
Change moves forever and blindly dies alone

Holding back within oneself,
Letting go of power and wealth,
People change and meaningless deeds are done.

In that sea of dangerous sand,
Frightening waves of sparkling tear,
Attempt to shake the stubborn mind,
Of the man who now is here…

Asking questions one may see,
Who one feels one wants to be,
Seeing truth within and around the lies

Hiding deep within a thought,
A single absolute truth is sought,
But this ideal is locked away without a key.

In that sea of maddening sands,
Confusing waves to see and hear,
Attempt to drive back the threat,
Of the man who does not fear…

Then at last the journey ends,
Calm returns and quiet mends,
However, something’s missing in the end.

Something was lost on the journey
Some memento or precious learning,
Something that’s impossible to get back.

Beyond the sea of now dead sands,
Knowledge of the distant lands,
Remnants of a distant past,
The future carved in stone or glass,
Or something else, a better life,
One that came beyond the strife.

And only one shall know it’s there,
The man who simply didn’t care.
The tagline poem for the second book in The Zephyter Story, which is still not in the writing process yet.
